Deform by Spine Property Editor
Controls the weighting of points to spine deformers. Each curve has a cylinder of influence. As you manipulate a curve, any points on the object that are within the cylinder of influence move as well.
To apply: Select an object or cluster then choose Deform > Deform by Spine from the Model or Animate toolbar, pick one or more curves, and right-click to end the curve-picking session. To deform the objects and clusters, modify the curve by transforming it, moving points, or applying a deformation.
To redisplay: In an explorer, click the Envelope_Weights icon under the appropriate cluster (by default, named DeformBySpineWeightCls).
The amplitude is the strength of the effect. It is a weight that varies over the radius of the cylinder of influence. The higher the amplitude, the more closely points on the deformed surface follow points on the deforming curve.

Amplitude Falloff Profile |
This profile curve defines the amplitude (0 to 1 on the vertical axis) over the length of the radius of the cylinder of influence (0 to 100% on the horizontal axis). A value of 0 means that points at the corresponding distance from the center of the cylinder of influence are entirely unaffected by the deformation; a value of 1 means that they are fully affected. You can edit the profile using the mouse and the same keyboard commands as the animation editor, or right-click to display a menu. |
The two parameters on the radius tab combine to determine the shape of the effect’s cylinder of influence.

Longitudinal Radius Profile |
This profile curve defines the relative shape of the cylinder of influence as a fraction of the maximum radius (0 to 1 on the vertical axis) in terms of a percentage of the curve’s length (0 to 100 on the horizontal axis). For any percentage length of the curve, the actual radius of the cylinder of influence at that point is given by the Radius parameter multiplied by the height of this curve. For example, to obtain a funnel-shaped cylinder of influence, select the curve then right-click and choose Presets > Linear Ease-in (0-->1) |
