Clipping Planes

Another way to reduce image complexity is to define clipping planes to set a maximum and minimum distance for the camera to render. By default, the near clipping plane is very close to the camera and the far clipping plane is far away. However, if an image contains objects that are complex but very far away, you may want to set the far clipping plane so that such objects are not rendered.

Clipping planes have no effect when scanline rendering is deactivated. For information about activating scanline rendering, see Scanline.

These options are set in the Camera property editor. For more information about clipping planes, see Setting Clipping Planes [ Lights and Cameras ].
