Shader Type: Texture Space Controller (Tool)
Output: Vector value
Warps (deforms) a texture coordinate by a noise function. It is usually used to alter or perturb existing texture space.
|
Name |
The shader’s name. Enter any name you like, or leave the default. |
|
Texture Coordinates |
Defines the X, Y, and Z texture coordinates to be transformed. |
|
Noise Coordinates |
Defines the location in noise space (may be the same as the texture coordinates). |
|
Intensity |
Defines the strength of the warp. The greater the value, the greater the amplitude of the warp waves. |
|
Scale |
Defines the scale of the warp. A high value “tightens” waves; a low value “loosens” them. |
Use this shader to edit a Coordinates input. Place it between a Texture Space Generator and a Texture Generator shader to create highly customizable effects. You can also use a State or Texture Space Generator to drive the Noise coordinates of this shader.
Connect a Texture Space Controller shader to drive the Coordinate value of this shader.
