Shader Type: Lens
Output: Color (RGB) value
Can be used as an environment or lens shader. It is usually applied to a texture in the background of a scene. It can stretch or pan a background texture as needed.
• As an environment shader, this tool can make a background infinite. It can also reveal 2D background when the surface reflects nothing.
• As a lens shader, it can place the texture in front of the entire scene, acting as a slide projector.

Name |
The shader’s name. Enter any name you like, or leave the default. |

Image |
Defines an image clip to use. Click Edit to open a property page for the image clip being presently used. To retrieve a new clip, click New and indicate whether you wish to create a new clip or create one from a source. |

Image View Window |
Displays the selected image. You can right-click on the image to access the Image Clip Property Editor. If the image is a sequence, use the playback controls to play the sequence image. |

Zoom |
Enlarges the texture picture on the X, Y, or Z axis. |
|
Pan |
Shifts the texture in one of the X, Y, or Z directions. |
|
Torus U,V |
Repeats the texture infinitely across the surface in the defined direction. |
