This shader is no longer supported, and scenes using it will not display correctly.

This shader is designed to author content for DirectX. It is used to create shadows that will be displayed on one or more shadow receiving objects. It is meant to be used with the DXShadowReceiver shader, which should be applied to all the shadow receiving objects.

ShadowBuffer

The frame buffer to which the object’s shadows are rendered. This must match the ShadowBuffer value in the DXShadowReceiver shaders applied to all shadow receiving objects.

LightID

Identifies the light that is creating the shadows. This must be a spotlight.

Near/Far Plane

Specifies the boundaries within which shadows are computed.

Sample

Specifies whether the shader samples Shadows or Color.
