Hotfix
This hotfix addressed problems with displaying solid filled objects in
AutoCAD® drawings.
Description of
Problem
While opening drawings with solid filled objects such as dimension arrows,
the solid filled objects may not appear when AutoCAD® Raster Design
2009 is installed.

Installation
Instructions
To install the
Solid Filled Object Hotfix
NOTE: You must have administrative privileges on
your Microsoft® Windows® operating system to complete the
installation process.
- Close
all software applications.
- Download
and/or extract the Hotfix files to a folder on your local drive.
- Find
the product installation folder (for example, C:\Program
Files\AutoCAD Raster Design 2009).
- In
this folder, find the AeciGix51.dll file. .
- Click
the Version tab and confirm the file version.
- If
the file is version 17.2.22.5, then proceed with this
installation.
- If
the file is version 17.2.22.6 or higher, then this hotfix has
already been applied.
- Rename
the affected original files.
- In
the product installation folder, right-click the AeciGix51.dll file and rename it AeciGix51.bak.
- Navigate
to the folder where you extracted the Hotfix files.
- Based
on the version of your product, copy the appropriate AeciGix51.dll (32 or 64-bit version)
to your product installation folder.
- Verify
the version of the replaced file.
- Right-click
the new AeciGix51.dll file and select Properties. Click the version tab and
confirm that this file is version 17.2.22.6.
NOTE: To remove this hotfix, delete the new
AeciGix.dll that
you downloaded to the product installation folder and restore the file you
renamed in Step 6 to the original name.
