In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released Hotfix TS1073246 which addresses an issue within Autodesk Inventor 2008 where editing an Derived Assembly containing iParts will cause Inventor to crash. This README file highlights how to install, and other important information regarding this update.

-This patch update applies to all flavors of Autodesk Inventor 2008 with SP1 installed

Warnings:

This hotfix should only be applied to systems directly affected by the issue described above. This is the only issue for which this hotfix has been created to address.

Installation Instructions:
==========================


1. Download Hotfix TS1073246.
2. Extract TS1073246_R2008SP1.MSP from TS1073246.ZIP.
3. Double click on TS1073246_R2008SP1.MSP to install this Hotfix on each system running Autodesk Inventor 2008 
4. Click Next to begin the install. Once finished you'll receive the "Autodesk Inventor 2008 update" dialog box stating that the update has been successfully applied. 
5. Click Finish to complete the install and exit the dialog.
