In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released this 
hotfix which improves a property editing issue and Inventor file dependency updates 
after certain vault operations.

This README file highlights how to install the hotfix, and other important 
information regarding this update.

Description of the issues:
===================================================================================

A file property editing improvement is included for files with extremely long path 
and file names.  When this occurred, file property editing could not be performed.

After performing operations like folder move and/or folder rename in vault, some 
Inventor references are not updated properly.


This hotfix improves Inventor file dependency updates in vaulted data reducing 
unexpected ‘resolve file’ dialog occurrences in Inventor.

Known Issues:

This hotfix applies to all file dependencies affected after the application of the 
hotfix. Files that have been affected by this issue prior to the installation of 
the hotfix will not be resolved.  Affected files must be manually resolved.  See the 
related article 'Hotfix - Assemblies open and prompt to resolve files' for a 
description on manually resolving files.

Installing Inventor 2009 SP1 is highly recommended as it resolves additional 
relationship issues.

Installation Instructions:

1. Download the hotfix to a temporary directory on each workstation.
2. Extract the contents of the zip file to the temporary directory.
3. Double-click on TS1088248.msp to install the hotfix.
4. Repeat installation on all workstations.
