Project Database Service Hotfix

This hotfix repairs a problem in which the Project Database Service would encounter a problem unexpectedly and need to close.

Prerequisites

• You must have AutoCAD® Electrical 2008 SP2 installed.
• You will need administrative privileges.

Note: This hotfix will update all language versions.

Installation Instructions

1. Download the appropriate hotfix:

• For 32 bit operating systems - TS1100927.zip
• For 64 bit operating systems - TS1100927_x64.zip

2. On your local computer, find the hotfix downloaded in Step 1 and unzip to a folder
3. Run the executable that was unzipped in Step 2

• For 32 bit operating systems - TS1100927.exe
• For 64 bit operating systems - TS1100927_x64.exe

Known issues with Hotfix TS1100927

• Hitting the Esc key during an 'Updating...' process ('Updating...' dialog is displayed on the screen) could cause all drawing files in the active project to be locked. To correct this issue, you will need to exit and re-launch AutoCAD Electrical 2008.
• Unable to uninstall AutoCAD Electrical 2008 SP2 after this Hotfix has been installed and uninstalled from a system. Once you have installed and uninstalled this Hotfix, to uninstall AutoCAD Electrical 2008 SP2 you must re-install this Hotfix.
