Pinlist values getting blanked out after selecting catalog number Hotfix

This hotfix correct an issue when selecting a catalog number for a component the Pin values that were already entered could get removed.

Prerequisites

• You must have AutoCAD® Electrical 2010 installed.
• You will need administrative privileges.

Note: This hotfix will update all language versions.

Installation Instructions

1. Exit AutoCAD Electrical
2. Download the hotfix: TS1108528.zip
3. Find the product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Acade 2010.
4. In this folder, right-click the WDS1ED.fas file.

• If this file has a modified date of 2/13/2009 (Febuary 13th, 2009), then proceed with this installation.
• If this file has a modified date of 5/19/2009 (May 19th, 2009), then this hotfix has already been applied.

5. Rename the affected original file.

• In the product installation folder, right-click the file WDS1ED.fas and rename it WDS1ED.bak.

6. Double-click the downloaded file.
7. Extract WDS1ED.fas to the product installation folder (for example, C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Acade 2010)
8. Confirm that the date of the replaced file, WDS1ED.fas, is 5/19/2009 (May 19th, 2009).

NOTE: To remove this HOTFIX, delete the new WDS1ED.fas file and the rename the file WDS1ED.bak back to its original name of WDS1ED.fas.
