TS17120564 - Productstream Professional 2010 - Wrong BOM values in Mechanical when items have more revisions

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released this Productstream Professional 2010 hotfix which addresses that wrong BOM values in Mechanical when items have more revisions.

Description of the Issue

This hotfix resolves an issue where the BOM in Mechanical is updated with the values of the wrong version of the item in Productstream Professional if the item has more revisions, when working with Mechanical 2010.

    NOTE: If you had already applied the previous hotfix TS13876980 or hotfix TS13877105 which were downloaded from Updates & Service Packs before June 15, 2011, it is required to update them to the new version with the published date of 2011-Jun-15.

    To update hotfix TS13876980:

    1. Uninstall the previous version of hotfix TS13876980.

    a. On Windows XP operating systems, go to Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs window, select the Show Updates option; On Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems, go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features window, in the left pane, click View Installed Updates.

    b. Find the update entry of hotfix TS13876980 under the Autodesk Productstream Professional 2010 (Client) in the list of installed programs and updates.

    Note: If you cannot find the appropriate entry but find another one named “Autodesk Productstream Professional 2010 (Client)” with version 9.0.78.0, please select it.

    c. Click Remove or Uninstall.

    1. Download the new version of hotfix TS13876980 (Published date: 2011-Jun-15) here: Updates & Service Packs.
    2. Install the new version of hotfix TS13876980 referring to its readme.

    To update hotfix TS13877105:

    1. Uninstall the previous version of hotfix TS13877105.

    a. On Windows XP operating systems, go to Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs window, select the Show Updates option; On Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems, go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features window, in the left pane, click View Installed Updates.

    b. Find the update entry of hotfix TS13877105 under the Autodesk Productstream Professional 2010 (Client) in the list of installed programs and updates.

    Note: If you cannot find the appropriate entry but find another one named “Autodesk Productstream Professional 2010 (Client)” with version 9.0.81.0, please select it.

    c. Click Remove or Uninstall.

    1. Download the new version of hotfix TS13877105 (Published date: 2011-Jun-15) here: Updates & Service Packs.
    2. Install the new version of hotfix TS13877105 referring to its readme.

    If you had applied the previous hotfix TS13876980 and hotfix TS13877105 both, during updating them to their new versions, you will find there is no update entry of hotfix TS13877105 under the Autodesk Productstream Professional 2010 (Client) in the list of installed programs and updates. In this case, please firstly update hotfix TS13876980 to its new version according to the instructions above, and then directly install the new version of hotfix TS13877105 referring to its readme.

    1. Install Autodesk Productstream Professional 2010 RTM.
    2. Install hotfix TS13877105 (Published date: 2011-Jun-15).
    3. Install this hotfix TS17120564 by running the appropriate MSP on the client.
