WMS Consumption Hotfix

Thank you for downloading the WMS Consumption Hotfix.

This readme contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this hotfix. We recommend that you read this entire document before you apply the hotfix to your product. For reference, you should save this readme to your hard drive or print a copy.

Issue Resolved by This Hotfix

This hotfix corrects the following issues:

• Out of memory conditions when accessing external WMS services.

Installation Instructions

To install the WMS Consumption Hotfix

NOTE: You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft© Windows© operating system to complete the installation process.

1. Download the Hotfix files to a folder on your local drive.
2. Stop the MapGuide Server service. 
3. Unzip 1138613.zip (with folder names) to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\MapGuideEnterprise2009. 
4. Run install.bat from the newly created MapGuideEnterprise2009\1138613 folder. 
5. Restart the MapGuide Server service.

To remove the WMS Consumption Hotfix

1. This hotfix can be uninstalled at a later time by running the uninstall.bat script.
