Notice to Autodesk Inventor Customers: DL20874980 Released

In our continuing efforts to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released Update 2 for Inventor 2012 Service Pack 2 which addresses multiple issues (see Description below). This Update is cumulative, Update 1 is not a prerquisite (see Update 1 readme for list of issues addressed).

This document contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this update. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the update to your product. For reference, you should save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

  • Inventor Optimization 2012 Required Update

  • Item Assigment Fails with copied Virtual components being made to Reference

  • Tube and Pipe route doesn’t update after the constraint value is changed

  • Title block is not correctly deleted from drawings

  • The result of derive part will not be updated until manually edit the derived feature

  • Documents become dirty during file resolve process

    For application of this update, your system must have one of the following products installed:

    This update is available in 32bit and 64bit versions (downloaded together as one bundle) and is only applicable to Autodesk Inventor 2012 Service Pack 2. If you do not have Service pack 2 please download and install prior to installing this Hotfix. Once installed, it will appear as an update under Add/Remove Programs and can be uninstalled from there.
